30th anniversary!Östergötland Music Days invites you to enjoy classical music and jazz in our beautiful region on August 10-17, 2024.
Our main cities are Linköping and Norrköping, but we play all over the province – in castles, churches, art museums, concert halls.
This year, we celebrate our 30th anniversary. The program centres on the human voice, the base of all music, as I see it.
The week starts with star soprano and Royal Court Singer Elin Rombo with the Östgöta Symphonic Winds. You will then meet Swedish top artists such as pianist Roland Pöntinen in a solo recital, as well as some international guests, notably Russian cellist Lev Sivkov and Russian-Armenian pianist Nikita Mndoyants, whose harmonious interplay will demonstrate that there are no borders for art, for respect, human values and friendship.
Don’t miss the fabulous voices of sopranos Maria Fontosh and Susanna Stern, as well as rising mezzo star Ebba Lejonclou. Ebba performs with Love Derwinger, yet another well-known Swedish pianist.
You will discover visiting chamber groups like Duo Dialog and the baroque ensemble Ars Arctica with virtuoso counter-tenor Rodrigo Sosa Dal Pozzo. Local professional groups include the Crusell Wind Quintet, the Östgöta Brass Quintet and the Östgöta Jazz Band.
To finish the festival, we welcome jazz singer Margareta Bengtson and Stockholm Chamber Jazz, for a swinging tribute to Duke Ellington’s favourite singer, Alice Babs, and clarinettist Putte Wickman, two internationally famed Swedish jazz stars who both would have turned 100 this year.

Tickets are sold from July 1, primarily through www.biljettkiosken.se. An advance-booking fee will be added. Ticket prices are stated next to every concert presentation, where you will also find a specific link for ticket purchase.Remaining tickets are sold at the entrance before each concert.
